How to connect IndiaMART leads to your CRM

An IndiaMART buy-lead reaches you as an SMS and an email. Somebody then copies the number into a diary, a WhatsApp chat or an Excel sheet — or nobody does, and by evening the buyer has already spoken to three other suppliers.

IndiaMART can send every new enquiry straight into your CRM instead, the second it arrives. Their name for it is the Push API, or CRM Integration. It is a one-time setup and takes about ten minutes.

What you need before you start

Your IndiaMART seller login on a computer, and your Enkay workspace open in another tab, signed in as the owner. Nothing has to be installed and nothing costs extra.

How the connection works

Your workspace has a private push URL for IndiaMART. You paste it into the seller panel; IndiaMART then posts every new buy-lead to it. It looks like this:

https://yourbusiness.enkaytechnologies.com/webhooks/ingest/indiamart/your-private-key

The code at the end tells us which workspace the lead belongs to. Treat it like a password: give it to IndiaMART and nobody else, and do not put it on a public page. When a lead lands, Enkay reads the number, creates the lead marked as IndiaMART, and puts a follow-up date on it so it appears on somebody’s list the same day.

Step 1 — Copy your push URL

  1. Sign in to your workspace at yourbusiness.enkaytechnologies.com.
  2. Open Integrations in the left menu, under Workspace. Only the owner can see this page.
  3. On the IndiaMART card, press Copy URL.

Leave that tab open. The same page lists everything received in the last 30 days, which is how you check the connection at the end.

Step 2 — Paste it into the IndiaMART seller panel

  1. Sign in to the seller panel at seller.indiamart.com with the mobile number registered to your IndiaMART account. Use a computer — the phone app does not carry this screen.
  2. Open Lead Manager from the top menu. It is the same screen where you read your buy-leads every morning.
  3. Open CRM Integration. It sits in the Lead Manager settings, and is sometimes labelled Push API or API Integration. The direct address is seller.indiamart.com/leadmanager/crmapi — if you are not signed in, it asks you to sign in first.
  4. Paste your push URL into the CRM URL field. If it asks for a method or a format, choose POST and JSON. Leave username, password and token fields blank; the key inside the URL is the authentication.
  5. Save. Then go back to Integrations in Enkay and press Connect IndiaMART, so the card starts tracking it.
Cannot find CRM Integration on your account?

It is hidden on some seller accounts until you ask for it. Call your IndiaMART account manager, or IndiaMART support on 096-9696-9696, and say: “Please enable the Lead Manager CRM Push API on my seller account — I want my leads pushed to my own CRM URL.” It is usually switched on the same day.

Step 3 — Send one test enquiry

Do not wait for a real buyer to find out whether it worked. Either use IndiaMART’s own test button if the CRM Integration screen offers one, or ask a friend to send an enquiry on one of your products from their number.

Within a few seconds it should appear twice: as a new lead in your leads list, and under Recent activity on the Integrations page as Lead created.

What IndiaMART sends, and where it lands

IndiaMART fieldIn your CRM it becomes
SENDER_MOBILEThe lead’s phone number. This is the one field we cannot do without
SENDER_NAMELead name. If it is missing, the number stands in until you fill it
QUERY_PRODUCT_NAME or QUERY_MESSAGEWhat the buyer asked for
UNIQUE_QUERY_IDKept quietly, so the same enquiry pushed twice stays one lead

IndiaMART has changed the shape of this payload more than once over the years, so Enkay reads several spellings of each field. A renamed key costs you the name, never the whole enquiry.

When nothing arrives

Every message we receive is listed on the Integrations page with what happened to it: Lead created, Ignored (no usable phone number in it — portal test pings often look like this) or Failed. If the list is empty after a real enquiry, check these in order:

  1. The URL saved in IndiaMART is the whole address, starting with https://, with no space at either end.
  2. It is the IndiaMART URL, not the JustDial or website one. They are not interchangeable.
  3. The seller panel actually kept the setting. Open the screen again and confirm the URL is still in the field.
  4. The enquiry was new. Buy-leads already sitting in your inbox before you connected are not pushed again.

Questions people ask

Will I stop getting the IndiaMART SMS and email?

No. Nothing about your IndiaMART account changes. This is an extra copy, delivered to your CRM instead of being retyped.

Is it safe to give IndiaMART that URL?

The key in it can only add leads to your workspace. It cannot read your customers, quotations or bills, and it can be changed from the Integrations page whenever you want.

Does it cost anything?

Not from us, on any plan. IndiaMART does not charge for it either, though the Push API belongs to their paid seller packages.

Will my older buy-leads come across?

No, only enquiries received after you connect. Older ones have to be added by hand, and usually only the ones still worth a call are worth the typing.

Can I forward the IndiaMART alert emails instead?

Not yet — forwarding portal alert mail into Enkay is still being built. The push URL is faster anyway: seconds, rather than whenever the mail is delivered.

The short version

  • Integrations → IndiaMART card → Copy URL.
  • Seller panel → Lead Manager → CRM Integration → paste → POST and JSON → Save.
  • Hidden on your account? Call 096-9696-9696 and ask for the Lead Manager CRM Push API.
  • Send one test enquiry and confirm it shows as Lead created.

Ten minutes, once. After that the only thing left to do with a buy-lead is call the person — which was always the part worth your time. Stuck anywhere, write to support@enkaytechnologies.com and we will do it with you on a call.
