How to get JustDial leads into your CRM

JustDial sends you a customer’s number by SMS the moment somebody searches your category. That is the good part. The bad part is what happens next: the message sits in a phone that belongs to one person, and by the time anyone calls back, the customer has spoken to the next three names on the list.

JustDial can post every lead to your CRM instead, the second it is generated. Setting it up is slightly different from other portals, and it is worth knowing why before you start.

The one thing to know first

JustDial has no screen where you paste a URL yourself. Their team enables lead push on your listing. So this is a request you make once — not a setting you switch on.

How the connection works

Your workspace has a private push URL for JustDial. JustDial posts each new lead to it, and Enkay turns that into a lead with the source marked and a follow-up date already on it. The URL looks like this:

https://yourbusiness.enkaytechnologies.com/webhooks/ingest/justdial/your-private-key

The code at the end identifies your workspace, so treat it like a password. It is also specific to JustDial — the IndiaMART URL and the website URL are different addresses and are not interchangeable.

Step 1 — Copy your push URL

  1. Sign in to your workspace at yourbusiness.enkaytechnologies.com.
  2. Open Integrations in the left menu, under Workspace. Only the owner sees this page.
  3. On the JustDial card, press Copy URL.

Step 2 — Ask JustDial to switch lead push on

  1. Find who to ask. The quickest route is the relationship manager who sold you the package. Otherwise sign in at business.justdial.com or open the JD Business app, or call JustDial business support on 8888-888-888.
  2. Have your listing details ready — the registered business name, the city, and the mobile number your listing is registered against.
  3. Make the request in one sentence: “Please enable lead push for my listing to my own CRM URL. I want every lead posted to it as soon as it is generated.”
  4. Send the URL in writing. Email it rather than reading it out — one mistyped character and nothing will ever arrive. Ask them to confirm by email once it is live.

What to put in the email

Copy this, fill in the three bracketed bits, and send it to your relationship manager:

Subject: Enable lead push to my CRM — [business name], [city]

Hello,

Please enable lead push for my JustDial listing
([business name], [city], registered mobile [number])
so that every new lead is posted to my own CRM URL:

https://yourbusiness.enkaytechnologies.com/webhooks/ingest/justdial/your-private-key

Please send the lead as an HTTP POST with these fields:
mobile - customer's mobile number (required)
  name - customer's name
category - the category or requirement searched
  leadid - JustDial's lead ID

Kindly confirm once it is active.

Thank you,
[your name]

What JustDial sends, and where it lands

JustDial fieldIn your CRM it becomes
mobileThe lead’s phone number. Without it there is nobody to call, so it is the one required field
name, with prefixLead name, such as Mr Sharma
category, requirement or areaWhat the customer was looking for
leadidKept quietly, so the same lead sent twice stays one lead

The field set varies by listing type, so every field is read in several spellings. If JustDial sends something we do not recognise, the enquiry still becomes a lead as long as there is a number in it.

While you wait for them

Activation can take a few working days, and sometimes a reminder. Nothing is lost in the meantime: your JustDial SMS keeps arriving exactly as before, and adding a lead by hand takes about five seconds — a phone number is the only thing a lead needs. Type it in, and the follow-up date takes care of the rest.

Step 3 — Confirm the first lead

Once JustDial say it is live, watch the Integrations page. Every message we receive is listed with what happened to it:

  • Lead created — it worked, and the lead is on your list.
  • Ignored — the message carried no usable phone number. Test pings often look like this and it is nothing to worry about.
  • Failed — something in it could not be read. Send it to us and we will look.

If the list stays empty after a real enquiry, go back to JustDial with one question: “Has the lead push to my CRM URL been activated, and which URL is saved on my listing?” Nine times out of ten the answer is that it is still in their queue, or that the URL was saved with a character missing.

Questions people ask

Will my JustDial SMS stop?

No. Nothing about your listing or your package changes. The push is an extra copy.

Is it safe to give them the URL?

The key inside it can only add leads. It cannot read your customers, quotations or bills, and you can change it from the Integrations page at any time.

Does JustDial charge for it?

It is part of the paid listing packages, not an add-on we have seen billed separately. Confirm with your relationship manager for your own package. We charge nothing for it on any plan.

They said no, or nothing is moving. Now what?

Keep the SMS habit and add the lead by hand — it is five seconds, and it keeps every enquiry in one place with your IndiaMART and website leads. Ask again after a few weeks; the feature exists, and which accounts get it seems to depend on who is asked.

The short version

  • Integrations → JustDial card → Copy URL.
  • Email your relationship manager, or call 8888-888-888, and ask for lead push to that URL.
  • Send the URL in writing, with the four fields listed above.
  • When they confirm, check the next enquiry shows as Lead created.

Need a hand with the wording or the follow-up, write to support@enkaytechnologies.com.
