Custom softwareBusiness website development that brings in enquiries
A business website has one job: turn the people who find you into enquiries you can follow up. Enkay Technologies builds sites that load fast on a patchy mobile connection, are set up properly for Google, and send every enquiry somewhere a person will see it.
Business website development at Enkay Technologies starts from one question: what should a visitor do next? For most businesses that win work through enquiries, the answer is call, send a WhatsApp message, or fill in a short form. Everything on the site is arranged to make that easy, and everything behind it makes sure the enquiry reaches a person.
We are a software company, and we also make a CRM, Enkay CRM. That is why our websites are built around what happens after the click, not only how the home page looks.
What makes a business website bring in enquiries
Most small business websites get some visitors and very few enquiries. The reasons are usually ordinary, and we have written them up in why a website gets visitors and no enquiries. In short, we build for these:
- Speed on a real phone. Most of your visitors are on mobile data, not office Wi-Fi. Pages are light, images are sized and compressed, and nothing waits on a slow script.
- Contact where the thumb is. Call and WhatsApp buttons on every page on a phone, and a form that asks for a name, a number and one line — not ten fields.
- One page per service. Someone searching "AC repair in Wakad" should land on a page about AC repair, not on a home page that lists twelve things.
- Proof a doubter can check. Real photos of your work, your address and hours, GSTIN if you publish it, and how to reach a person.
- Enquiries that do not disappear. Every form submission goes to email and, if you want, straight into a CRM as a lead with a follow-up date. See connecting a website form to a CRM.

Types of websites we build
Company and service websites
For installers, service companies, clinics, institutes and agencies: a clear page for each service, the areas you cover, and an obvious way to enquire.
Product catalogues
For manufacturers, dealers and distributors: products by category with specifications and downloadable brochures, and an enquiry button on each product so the lead arrives with the product name already attached.
Landing pages for ads
If you run Google or Meta ads, sending that paid traffic to your home page wastes much of it. A landing page for each campaign, with one offer and one form, makes the spend measurable.
Websites joined to a system
Customer logins, booking slots, order tracking, dealer portals. When the website is the front of a custom CRM or internal system, we build both together so the data does not have to be copied across.
How a website project runs
- Free scoping call on what you sell, who buys it and what they search for.
- Written scope and fixed quote with the page list, what is included, and a date.
- Content checklist. Text, photos, logo, service list. We can write the page copy for you if you prefer.
- Design you approve, on your phone and on a laptop.
- Build, test and launch, with Search Console and Analytics set up and the sitemap submitted.
- 30 days of free fixes, then a care plan or pay-as-you-go changes, your choice.
Most business websites take 2 to 4 weeks once the content is in.
What a website costs
Our quotes for a business website start at about ₹25,000 before GST. The number rises with the number of pages, a product catalogue, more than one language, online payments, bookings or customer logins. A care plan with hosting, SSL, daily backups, updates and small changes starts at ₹5,000 a month. The quote lists the yearly running costs as well as the build, so there are no surprises in year two.
Whoever builds your site, ask for the domain to be registered in your business’s name and for the hosting login. A domain held in a developer’s account is the most common reason businesses cannot move their own website. How to check who owns yours.
After launch: where most websites stall
A website is not finished on launch day. Google takes weeks to index new pages, and rankings come from pages that answer what your customers search for. We can keep adding service pages and articles on a monthly plan, or show your team how to do it. Either way, check the enquiries every week, not the visitor count. If you are getting visitors and no enquiries, the problem is on the page; if enquiries arrive and nothing happens, the problem is the follow-up, and that is what lead management is for.

How much does a business website cost?
Our written quotes for a business website start at about ₹25,000 before GST. A few pages with an enquiry form sit near that figure; a catalogue of products, several languages, online payments or a booking system cost more. Domain, hosting and upkeep are listed separately in the quote so you can see the yearly cost too.
How long does it take to build a website?
Usually 2 to 4 weeks from the day we receive your content: the text, photos, logo and the list of products or services. Waiting for content is the most common reason a website is late, so we send a checklist on the first day.
Will my website rank on Google?
Nobody can promise a position on Google, and anyone who does is guessing. We build the parts that decide whether a page can rank: speed, a clean structure, one page per service, titles and descriptions, schema markup, a sitemap, Search Console and your Google Business Profile. Rankings then depend on your content and competition.
Who owns the domain and the website?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is in your name or handed to you, and you receive the source files. If a developer registers your domain in their own name, getting it back later can be slow and awkward.
Do you use WordPress?
When it suits the job, yes. If you want to edit pages often yourself, a content management system makes sense. For a site that changes rarely and must load fast, a plain hand-built site is cheaper to host and has less to keep patched. We recommend one in the written scope and say why.
Can the website send enquiries into my CRM?
Yes. The enquiry form can post straight into Enkay CRM, into another CRM that accepts it, or into a custom system we build, as well as to your email. Each enquiry then becomes a lead with a follow-up date instead of an email nobody opens.
